Camden's Barr scores record 94 points (1992)
Camden High's Greg Barr broke a 32-year old New Jersey record last night, scroing 94 points as the Panthers buried host Highland 161-73, in a Olympic cinference American basketball game. Camden's point total also broke a South Jersey reord.The previous state recotd for points on one game by a player was 84. It was set by Moorestown's Eddie Douglas in 1959 and tied by Perth Amboy's Brian Taylor in 1969. Barr, a 6-foot-2 senior foward, also became the second South Jersey player from a school in the NJSIAA to score 1,000 points in a season. The first was Camden's Kevin Walls, who scored 1,182 in 1984 Barr was playing his final game because Camden had been suspended from  the state tournament because of a fight among spectators at last year's state semifinal against Trenton. He finished the season with 1,077 points in 26 games
